Don't let the new imitators over at XBOX.com fool you. Gamerdad is not a new idea. It's been around since 2003, content focused game reviews, and a thriving forum group. Several hundred game reviews, and the only place you can find the Kid Factor. That extra special part of the reveiw where we tell you what to watch out for, how a game might encourage good behaviors as well as some of the bad ones. Hey, maybe there's an educational slant in it. One of my favorites was *myself* getting introduced to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms through Dynasty Warriors. There's a review of DW on there too. In the forums you'll find Andrew Bub, and all his reviewers if you have a question about a game and even some advice on games they play with thier kids.

I'm not gonna harp on Xbox.com about this too much, it's good that they're trying to help the industry, parents and themselves. Some parents might not have heard about the original
Gamer Dad site, and Xbox.com is a good start for parents of Xbox owners. I think the best and most respectable way for them to handle this would be a simple name change. I've suggested "GameFather". Heh, maybe you can think of a good way for him to mention he's a gamer with kids...wait I think someone beat them to that name too.

If you have some name suggestions, or wanna check us out. Cuz, yeah, I reveiw for Gamer Dad I'm on the forums...Tater-Dad. Come on the original site and see how it's properly done.
